We all have one thing we can’t get enough of….time! That’s right, it always seems like we never have enough time for anything, especially in the morning. I know after I have pushed the snooze a couple times, I am frantically trying to scrounge the cupboards to find something for breakfast. Wait a second, why would I want to be scrounging for the most important meal of the day? I shouldn’t be, and this is why I present to you: The One Minute Muffin. The One Minute Muffin is a healthy protein-infused recipe packed with 35 grams of protein, only 200 calories, omega-3 fatty acids, low carbs, low fat, and great taste. The perfect way to start your morning….healthy and convenient. Follow along with the video as I prepare the One Minute Muffin. Listed below the video are the ingredients and directions:
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tsp. stevia
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 scoop whey protein powder (cookies & cream or vanilla recommended)
Combine all ingredients in a coffee mug and mix well to form the muffin batter. Place mug in microwave and cook on high for ONE minute. Enjoy!
