Healthy Buffalo Chicken Pizza Recipe

Try this spin on a healthy buffalo chicken pizza recipe!  Now I love buffalo chicken pizza.  It is such a non-traditional pizza yet I really enjoy the combination of hot buffalo sauce, chicken and cheese on that crunchy crust.  Only problem is most pizzas are not healthy!  So, I said it was time to “healthify” the buffalo chicken pizza!  This Healthy Buffalo Chicken Pizza Recipe is quick, easy, low in fat and high in protein.  It is also relatively high in sodium due to the buffalo sauce, fat free ranch and fat free cheese, so be sure to watch the rest of your sodium intake on the day where you’ll eat this pizza.  That being said, watch the video below to see me making the buffalo chicken pizza or follow the directions below the video.


Ingredients

  • 2 Whole Wheat Tortillas
  • 1/4 + a pinch cup of fat free mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp fat free ranch dressing
  • 1-3 tsp fat free buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 can of chicken breast (drained)
  • Minced Garlic

Directions

  1. Toast both sides of your tortillas in a dry pan on the stove
  2. Heat oven to 400 or 450
  3. On top of one toasted tortilla, sprinkle a small amount of cheese
  4. place second tortilla on top
  5. In a small dish combine the ranch dressing, garlic, and wing sauce
  6. Spread over top tortilla
  7. In a bowl dump in drained can of chicken and add buffalo sauce to taste (about 1-2 tsp)
  8. Spread chicken over top tortilla (on top of the sauce)
  9. Top with remaining cheese
  10. Bake in the oven until cheese is melted.
