If you are into HIIT training (High Intensity Interval Training) here’s a quick HIIT sprint workout for you to try. The video is pretty boring, but I wanted to be sure to try it out before I recommended it to anyone. I will say that I did not have a stopwatch and I would highly recommend using one if you’re doing this workout. It was pretty tough and by the end of the sprints, I could tell I was really slowing down. This is only a 15 minute workout, can pretty much be performed anywhere outdoors and will leave you doubled over trying to catch your breath!
The Workout:
- Sprint for 10 seconds then rest 10 seconds
- Sprint for 10 seconds, then rest for 20 seconds
- Sprint for 10 seconds, then rest for 30 seconds
- Sprint for 10 seconds, then rest for 40 seconds
- Sprint for 10 seconds, then rest for 50 seconds
Repeat sprints for 4-5 sets
