This is a recipe for a healthy fruit and veggie smoothie. This smoothie does not contain high protein, however it is a low calorie smoothie that I sometimes drink to satisfy a craving, or for a low calorie dessert option. The ingredients are pretty simple, and all you need is a blender. The smoothie I made creates 2 servings, each containing about 100 calories, 0 fat, and approx. 2g protein and 3g fiber.
- 1/2 Apple seeded
- 1 small orange
- 2/3 of a cucumber
- 1 handful of grapes
- 1 thick slice of Pineapple (can include core)
- 7 baby carrots (or 1 lg carrot)
- Ice to taste
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend into a smoothie. Add ice for thickness/temperature desired.
