I love pineapples as do many other people, however, not everyone knows how to peel a pineapple! The most common way people peel a pineapple is to hack off the skin deep enough to remove the entire pit. However, if you take a little extra time, you can use the spiral cut method and save quite a bit more of the fruit. It is a little known fact that each pineapple plant only produces just one pineapple per year! Along with that, we consume pineapples much earlier than when they reach full maturity. A fully mature pineapple takes two years to grow and, if left alone, usually reaches 20 lbs! Below i call out some key points in the video and the times where they occur.
