I stopped at a gas station on my way home from work one day and picked up a package of Jalapeno Smokehouse Blue Diamond almonds. They were awesome. As I finished off the entire package, I thought that they would make a good cream-cheese dip as the jalapeno flavor reminded me of a jalapeno popper. Next time on my way home from work, I picked up another package and made the dip – it was as good as I thought it would be. This dip will contain a nice amount of healthy fats from the almonds and no fat from the cream cheese.
- 1/2 package Blue Diamond Jalapeno Smokehouse Almonds
- 2-3 tbsp fat free cream cheese
- Obliterate the almonds in a magic bullet or food processor
- Stir in cream cheese until blended.
Nutrition: Approximately 170 calories, 10g fat and 4g protein
