Butterfinger Protein Smoothie

This is a recipe for a great tasting, easy to make butterfinger protein shake. IT DOES NOT CONTAIN A BUTTERFINGER CANDY BAR (sorry if the image fooled you). The recipe only contains 4 ingredients (5 if you count ice). This recipe would be great as a meal replacement type shake. The exact shake I made has 345 calories, 10 grams fat (mostly from the natural peanut butter), and 36.5 grams of protein! If you are worried about the fat content, it would probably still taste pretty good even if you omitted the peanut butter, but I like peanut butter so I use it. The taste of this shake is pretty similar to a butterfinger blizzard. If you use cookies and cream flavored protein (I used TwinLab cookies and cream), you also get the little cookie bits in the shake which makes it even better.



Ingredients:

1 cup skim milk
1 scoop cookies and cream protein powder
1 tbsp sugar free/fat free instant jello mix-butterscotch flavor
1 tbsp peanut butter
ice for desired thickness

Place ingredients, in the order listed, into blender and blend until smooth.

Drink Up!
