FitAid Review - LifeAid Beverage Co.

So I recently saw a promotion floating on Facebook for 2 cans of FitAid for $.99.  I thought, hell this is a good deal and snapped them up not really knowing what FitAid was other than they sponsor some CrossFit Athletes.  After waiting a little over a week to get my 2 cans, I was surprised by what FitAid actually was - a ready to drink nutritional supplement that contained more then I ever thought could be stuffed into a  12-oz can.  This will be my FitAid Review.

First of all, the taste was pretty good.  It did have a little bit of a vitamin aftertaste, but it was not bad at all and actually contained a nice, light citrus flavor.  Kind of like carbonated orange juice - so for me the taste was above average and definitely good enough to purchase a whole case.

Nutritionally, FitAid kind of blew my mind.  It has quite a bit of what I need being a 35-year-old CrossFitter who works out at home.  Each can of FitAid contains the following:

  • Green Tea Extract (45mg Caffeine)
  • L-Arginine
  • L-Glutamine
  • Glucosamine
  • L-Leucine
  • Quercetin
  • L-Isoleucine
  • V-Valine
  • CoQ10
  • Tumeric root extract
  • DHA Algae

So this is not your ordinary recovery formula - it's loaded!  We're talking muscle recovery endurance and energy, Antioxidants, Joint Health, Strength, speed and power, muscle stamina, cardiovascular support and focus, assistance with swelling associated with exercise, athletic performance.

I actually downed one of these before my sled workout today and I felt really good.  I was pouring sweat, had no cramping and a great even flow of energy.

Overall I would say FitAid is VERY GOOD and would recommend it.
