Yet again, APS has hooked us up with another product to review. This time it is their Complete Veggie Protein. Now, I am not a vegetarian, nor am I a vegan, however, I am always game for natural supplements, that don't contain a bunch of garbage. That is exactly what Complete Veggie Protein is. It is an all natural, plant based protein supplement consisting of pea, rice, and hemp proteins. It is also gluten free, and free of soy, wheat, and dairy based allergens. After looking at the ingredients, I realized that they are pretty simple, and didn't include a bunch of junk I have never heard of. Everything is natural and good for your body.

Highlights of APS Complete Veggie Protein Review:

  • 170 calories
  • 23 grams protein
  • 5 grams fat
  • 5 grams sugar
  • Flaxseed
  • Blueberry Powder
  • Acai Powder
  • Goji Berry Powder

So, when looking at the supplement facts, and the ingredient list, APS Complete Veggie Protein kicks butt! The lineup is rock solid. However, when it comes to taste, it was lacking compared to non-plant-based proteins I have tried. For this review I had the Berry Blast flavor. It was not the best tasting protein I had ever had - I would describe it as a hint of berry with some grassy/earthy undertones which is to be expected with a specialty protein like this. I came to the conclusion that this protein might best be mixed with some berries, water, and ice to make a smoothie. However, with the benefits of this supplement being so great, I can definitely tolerate the taste. If you are a vegetarian or vegan I would definitely recommend giving APS Complete Veggie Protein a go.
