This is a review of AST Sports Science AR-5 in the Lemon Ice flavor. AR-5 can be taken pre/post/during your workout and is mainly a BCAA supplemetn that contains some glutamine. I have to admit that I'm not sure I've seen a BCAA/electrolyte supplement that contains 3g of glutamine, however this is about all AR-5 has going for it. Although it mixed pretty well, the taste did not stack-up to the big guys (Amino1, Aminox). I'm not willing to sacrifice taste for a few grams of glutamine (and then have to rely on AR-5 for my glutamine supplementation). Overall, I would probably never puchase this product for the simple fact that the taste was below average and I don't really want glutamine in my BCAA drink.
