Found a sample of AST Sport Science AR-5 in one of my Jacked Packs. I have no idea what the AR-5 means, but the product looks like an intra workout type product to me.
Supplement Highlights:
7 g micronized BCAAs in 2:1:1 ratio 3 g micronized glutamine 1.2 g another amino acid matrix 1.1 g hydrolyte matrix (electrolytes)
If I were to judge this product by package alone, I would say it looks like a pretty sweet intra workout supplement. I like the 7 g BCAAs and the 3 g glutamine. However, every supplement needs to pass the taste test, and AR-5 DID NOT TASTE VERY GOOD.
I had the Lemon Ice flavor. It did have a lemony flavor to it, but it also tasted like it was a few months past its expiration date. It just tasted old and stale. I do have a sample of the stuff in the grape flavor, so hopefully that is a little more palatable :)
I would not buy the Lemon Ice flavor of this product.
