Try cooking it in chicken broth. It adds flavor to it.

have you heard of sprouting it? I'm really interested to try. I have a really hard time with the texture of rice and quinoa since gastric bypass so I'm always trying to be creative.

if you toast it a little first, medium heat in a skillet, then cook in chicken or beef broth. I will fine dice onions, portobello mushrooms & roma tomatoes & use this to modify the stuffed peppers recipe that you have in the recipe section! really yummy!

Cooking quinoa:
Prepare quinoa as you would prepare rice. Cover it with water or vegetable broth and boil until soft, about 15 minutes. Or, place 1 part quinoa to 2 parts water in your rice cooker.

I crock pot it. Its a great way to just leave it. With some chicken or turkey sausage.

I use a rice cooker and throw in a bouillion cube or two with the water.

I tried it cooked like oatmeal with honey. That was pretty good.
