BSN is known for putting out great products. I have yet to be dissatisfied with a BSN supplement that I have tried. When I got a sample of BSN Syntha-6 Isolate in my January JackedPack I was pretty excited to do a BSN Syntha-6 Isolate Review. Now I was already a fan of the original Syntha-6, but to see it come out in an isolate was pretty exciting. I tend to watch my fat and calories so an Isolate was great for me and my nutrient macros. (140 calories, 1.5g fat, 25g protein) At around $50 for a 4lb tub, it is actually pretty reasonable for an Isolate, but it if is out of your range look for a sale if possible. It is a solid product and nice to see a blended protein isolate.
As you may know, I am not a huge fan of Vanilla protein so I was a bit leery of the taste. I followed the instructions and mixed it with milk for that "milkshake like flavor and texture" and it was actually really good! If you can find the right price, it is a definite buy especially if you're watching your fat intake.
Syntha-6 Isolate is a blend of a few different proteins. It is not 100% whey. It contains a protein matrix complex comprised of whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, micellar casein, calcium caseinate, egg albumen, and glutamine peptides. Therefore, Syntha-6 is going to be digested by our bodies over a period of time, and the proteins are going to fuel your body for an extended period.
