This is a review of the NO boosting product called Cellucor NO3 Chrome. NO3 Chrome is marketed as a "pump optimizer" which contains NO3 technology. The main ingredient in NO3 Chrome is L-Arginine.
NO3 is Nitrate—a molecular compound that is supposed to deliver muscle pumps and amplify the effectiveness of anything it's co-ingested with. NO3 Chrome utilizes NO3 in the form of Arginine Nitrate—a fusion of L-Arginine and Nitric Acid.
Arginine is a potent precursor of nitric oxide, stimulating eNOS production inside your body. Nitrates dilate the smooth muscle tissue found in your veins and arteries. However, when stacking NO3 Chrome with Cellucor's pre workout supplement called C4 Extreme, I did not notice much of a difference as compared to taking C4 alone. I do want to give NO3 Chrome a try on its own to see if I can tell a difference, but for me taking NO3 Chrome and C4 (which contains NO3) did not produce much more than a solid C4 pump.
