Digging through my pile of samples, I found a little dandy from Champion Performance: Amino Shooter Edge.
Now, at first glance I figured this was an intra-workout, strictly amino type product. Once I checked the label, I was completely wrong, based on its contents and the fact that it is marketed as a pre/intra/post workout product.
Amino Shooter Edge pops 10 grams of amino acids per serving. 4.5g are BCAA's in a 8:1:1 ratio.
Amino Shooter Edge also has an energy blend to help it work effectively as a pre-workout. The blend includes, caffeine, taurine, green tea extract.
The product also contains beta alanine, glutamine, and a few other aminos.
I used the product as a pre-workout and had a good experience. I had good energy, I was strong in all my lifts, and had the endurance to burn through some super sets/tri sets at the end of my workout.
The taste was pretty darn good too. I had the blue raspberry flavor. And while it had a nice, solid blue raspberry flavor, it did not have any goofy after taste or strange bite to it.
I would recommend trying this product, and I personally, would use it again.
Below are a couple of my lifts from the workout:
