Controlled Labs Purple Wrath is an amino acid matrix. It contains your BCAAs along with several other aminos - making up a pretty nice profile. I contacted Controlled Labs via their facebook page and they sent out a handful of samples of each of their newest products. Controlled Labs Purple Wrath had a pretty good taste and mixed fine. The taste actually reminded me of raspberry lemonade Assault. If I had a full tub of this I would definitely down it all. As far as purchasing an entire tub, you will have to look at the nutrients. I probably would look for something that had in the range of 10g of BCAAs and no citrulline or beta alanine as I get those in my pre-workout supplement. You could consider Purple Wrath as your stim-free pre-workout supplement since it does contain citrulline and beta alanine. That being said, I probably won't be purchasing a tub of this regardless of the fact that it tasted good and has a solid profile.
