Cytosport Muscle Milk Review - Chocolate

Cytosport hit me up with a sweet little sample pack that contained Muscle Milk, Monster Pump and Monster Amino samples. I consumed this sample of Muscle Milk before bedtime and it was great. I am a chocolate protein fan and this was definitely a very rich chocolate flavor. I wish I had mixed it up with some milk and a little ice and it would have tasted like a fudge shake. It mixed very well with very few (if any) chunks floating around.

I have always known about Cytosport, but never really taken a ton of their supplements. I'm not sure if it is their naming or branding, but "Muscle Milk " has never really appealed to me - that is until I actually got a hold of the package and read what was in it. Muscle Milk is a post-workout supplement that has roughly a 2:1 protein to carb ratio. Muscle Milk consists of a blend of multi-source proteins, functional fats, low-sugar carbohydrates and 20 vitamins and minerals. Muscle Milk is also lactose-free.

Highlights:

• Cytosport has been around since 1998 and are a reputable brand.
• Nutrient profile was good. 32g protein and 18g carbs, 310 calories and 6g fat.
• Taste was very good - Rich chocolate flavor. Chocolate protein fans will love it.
• Overall, I'd give Muscle Milk as a whole a buy recommendation when the price is right. They have tons of flavors so you should be able to find one you like
