Healthy Homemade Coffee Creamer Recipe

I'll admit, I need a little pick-me-up in the morning and my go-to is a nice hot cup of coffee. However, for some reason I'm still not that hardcore where I'll drink my coffee black and I don't really like dumping in a pile of artificial sweeteners, sugars, and store-bought creamers. What I need is a healthy homemade coffee creamer recipe. If you are like me and want a healthy, natural, organic homemade coffee creamer look no further. This coffee creamer recipe is easy to make in your home and tastes amazing. The recipe will make about 12 oz and only takes 5-10 minutes to make (not counting soaking time).

Plain and Unsweetened Homemade Coffee Creamer Recipe

  • 1/2 cup of raw cashews
  • 1 1/2 cup purified water for blending (you'll need more for soaking the cashews)
  • Sea Salt

Vanilla and Sweetened Healthy Homemade Coffee Creamer Recipe

  • 1/2 cup of raw cashews
  • 1 1/2 cup purified water for blending (you'll need more for soaking the cashews)
  • Sea Salt
  • 1 tbsp raw honey or real maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  • Soak cashews in purified water for at least two hours
  • Drain cashews and toss the soaking liquid
  • Rinse cashews
  • Put all the ingredients in a blender
  • Blend on slow and gradually work-up to high speed - blend until smooth
  • Dump it in your coffee and drink it
