This low fat, healthy, homemade breakfast pizza recipe is low in fat & calories and high in protein, vitamins and minerals. It is also extremely fast & simple to prepare. The crust ends up crispy, the sauce is cheesy and spicy and you can really add any toppings you want to make it just how you like it. This healthy breakfast pizza contains many of the same ingredients as the healthy breakfast burrito so you don't end up wasting money on ingredients you'll only use for one recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1/4c cottage cheese
  • 1/8c fat free cheddar cheese
  • red pepper flakes
  • garlic powder
  • 2 egg whites
  • chopped onion
  • green pepper
  • ham

Directions

  • Cook scrambled egg whites, onion, green pepper and ham
  • In a blender, mix cottage cheese, shredded cheese, and spices until smooth
  • Toast both sides of your tortillas in a big frying pan
  • sprinkle some cheese on one tortilla
  • top with second tortilla
  • spread cottage cheese mixture on top of the tortilla
  • top with eggs
  • top with ham
  • top with some more cheese
  • put in oven at 425 or so for 3-4 minutes but don't burn your tortillas
  • eat it up
