This healthy homemade cheeseburger pizza is low in fat & calories and high in protein. It also only contains six ingredients which makes it extremely fast & simple to prepare. The crust ends up crispy and the and the sauce resembles a pizza and cheeseburger. Try this healthy homemade cheeseburger pizza recipe along with our Clif Builder Hot Fudge Sundae made with high protein ice cream and you'll feel like you ditched out on your diet - it's that good!

Ingredients:

  • 2 whole wheat 8 inch tortillas (*look for low fat tortillas to lower overall fat & calories in this recipe)
  • 1/8c ground beef (I made Gabe's Easy Cheeseburger Pie and set some to the side)
  • 1/8 c pizza sauce
  • 1/8c ketchup
  • 1 baby dill pickle
  • 1/4c+ fat free mozzarella cheese

Cooking Instructions

  1. Pre-Heat Oven to 425
  2. Pre-heat skillet on medium high heat (on the stove top)
  3. Brown (but don't burn) both sides of both tortillas
  4. Place one tortilla on the counter and add a small amount of the cheese
  5. Top with the second tortilla
  6. Combine pizza sauce and ketchup in a small bowl and spread sauce on top of the second tortilla and spread around with a spoon
  7. Dump on ground beef (or turkey)
  8. Top with remaining cheese (and snitch some extra if it looks too sparse)
  9. Slice pickle into thin slices and put on top
  10. Place in oven for 4-6 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges start to brown (but don't burn your tortillas)
  11. Slice and enjoy!

  • Fat: 11g (8 of the fat grams come from the tortillas I used. If you can find something with lower fat, you'll save some fat grams here)
