I recently completed the High Definition Abs Circuit Workout found at Bodybuilding.com and it was a dandy! It was a pretty intense cardio and ab workout. It was a superset of one ab move followed by a cardio move. There were 5 back-to-back, we took a 2-3 minute break then did it again. This routine kills two birds with one stone. It involves ab work which will tone and define the abs and it also includes cardiovascular exercises which will help burn that body fat. I rate this workout an A+ and will definitely be doing it again.
Workout Description:
Aim to complete 15-20 reps of each ab exercise. Do each cardio exercise for a full minute. Your goal is to maintain 100% high-intensity for the duration of the session.
Perform the complete circuit, rest for 2-3 minutes, and then complete the circuit a second time. The full workout should take about 15 minutes to finish.
Complete this workout at the end of your usual weightlifting session or do it on a separate day. Try to take a day off between circuit sessions. Tackling this workout on an off day from your regular routine would be the most ideal.
