In this video I will show you how to make a homemade mass gainer shake that tastes like an oatmeal cookie. Depending on how much protein, creatine, pre-workout, post-workout, BCAAs and other supplements you may be taking, it might not be in your budget for a mass gainer shake. Basically anything will work for a mass gainer shake. The whole idea is to create a calorie dense drink that won't fill your stomach to the brim! The recipe below is about 1/3 the price of commercial powder-based mass gainers and provides you with a dense, nutrient rich, high calorie shake that tastes like an oatmeal cookie.

Ingredients

  • 1c oats
  • 2 scoops vanilla whey or sustained release protein
  • 1c milk
  • 1tsp cinnamon (more or less to taste)
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • Splenda to taste
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Grind oats into a fine powder
  2. Combine milk, protein, cinnamon, vanilla and ice in a blender
  3. Slowly blend in oat flour
  4. Add more cinnamon and splenda to taste

 

~700 calories, 60g protein 10g fat
