Don't let the black beans fool you, you barely taste them in this high fiber, low fat black bean protein brownie recipe. As we all know, swapping out flour and sugar for protein powder is never really easy. We don't want to be left with a piece of cardboard or chewing on a piece of rubber that tastes like cocoa. The black beans in this recipe are really the champion. They add moisture to the dish without the added fat and sugars and the flavor of a black bean also compliments cocoa very well. Combine that with a great tasting chocolate protein powder (Champion Performance Whey Plus) and we have a winning dessert that won't be considered a cheat. Low Fat Black Bean Protein Brownie Recipe Ingredients

  • 6 egg whites
  • 1 can of black beans rinsed and drained
  • 3/4 cup of Champion Performance Whey Plus Protein - Chocolate Brownie
  • 1/4 cup of Cocoa
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 3 tbsp Coconut Flour
  • 5 tbsp Cottage Cheese
  • 1/2 tsp of Baking Soda
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

Directions

  1. In a blender, blend the beans, cottage cheese, honey, chocolate syrup and peanut butter. Dump into a large mixing bowl
  2. In a smaller bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients
  3. Fold the egg whites into the wet ingredients in the large mixing bowl
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet
  5. Grease an 8x8 baking dish and bake for 45 - 60 mins @ 320 degrees
  6. Eat
