Here's a quick and easy recipe I came up with when I thought I was out of food! I scoured my pantry and refrigerator and came up with a Low Fat Cheesy Garlic Tuna Pasta Casserole Recipe. This recipe hits nearly all of the important food groups. We have a solid dose of protein from the tuna, we get our healthy carbohydrates from the whole wheat pasta, we get some casein protein from the cottage cheese and we even toss in a few vegetables for good measure. I nuked this in the microwave, but you could also layer this in a baking dish and put it in the oven. If you really want to get creative, you can even get some whole wheat lasagna noodles and make Cheesy garlic tuna lasagna. At the end of the day, the bowl I made in the video had about 225 calories, 25g protein and about 1g fat.
