This is my review for MRIs Beta Charge. The stuff is basically marketed as a stimulant free preworkout supplement. After reading the package and the ingredients, I have come to the conclusion that Beta Charge is merely a flavored Beta Alanine supplement. Now, I am not saying this is a bad thing, I have purchased a pure Beta Alanine product before and it was plain, and I had to mix it with other products for some flavor, so I actually kind of like the idea of Beta Charge.
Supplement Facts: 3.2 g Beta Alanine 1 g L-Leucine .125 g iso leucine .125 g valine
In my sample packet, it only contained 1/2 a serving so my numbers in the video are based off of the sample size. 3.2 g beta alanine is a pretty standard hefty dose. You should definitely feel it. As far as the marketed 8:1:1 ratio of BCAAs, that is all fine and dandy, but you are only getting 1.25g of BCAAs per serving which is quite minimal. The flavor I had in the review was peach mango. It actually tasted good, and basically tasted as the name implies. There was no weird after taste or other hidden flavors or bite to this product.
I like Beta Charge as a flavored Beta Alanine product, but would not go as far as to call it a "High Intensity Training Formula" as MRI prefers to label it.
