This is a SixPackSmackdown.com original workout inspired by American Ninja Warrior. Short of building an obstacle course in your backyard this ninja warrior workout will take place at your local park, in your garage, at a local playground or gymnastics gym if you have access. This is a pretty difficult workout and requires cardiovascular, upper body and grip strength. You will need a pole/rope for climbing and a sturdy pull-up bar or monkey bars, etc. A door frame bar is not recommended, but if you have to use one, just sub-in regular pull-ups for some of the power moves. The moves are outlined below and I've also noted the time in the video where I perform it.
Start With a 1 mile jog then 2-3 sets of the below exercises with a 2-3 min rest between circuits. You can take a few seconds between moves in an attempt to simulate moving from obstacle to obstacle. You can rest as much as you'd like, but try to finish as fast as you can.
