This post will show you how to structure an effective P90X Insanity Hybrid Workout Schedule. Combining P90X and Insanity into a hybrid workout plan is no joke, and it is not easy, however it will produce some of the best results you can get with a home workout program. The photo in this post are Luke's actual results of his P90X/Insanity 60-day hybrid workout schedule.
What does the hybrid schedule look like?
The P90X Insanity Hybrid schedule I followed consisted of a set workout schedule for one week, then followed up with a different set of workouts for the second week. I would alternate Week A and Week B workouts for 8 weeks (or as long as you can keep it up!).
Week A:
Week B:
Who Should Do a P90X Insanity Hybrid?
I would suggest completing a complete round of P90X or Insanity as designed before you attempt to do a hybrid. The physical demands of a program like this are too great to begin with this program.
What Kind of Results Will I see from a P90X Insanity Hybrid?
You will see a tremendous loss in body fat and lean muscle gains. With this hybrid approach you can use heavier weight in the P90X workouts as you will get more than enough cardio during the Insanity workouts to keep you chisled.
What kind of nutrition plan should I follow on a P90X Insanity Hybrid?
I would follow the P90X Endurance Maximizer phase when doing the hybrid. You will be doing a tremendous amount of cardio and will need the extra carbohydrates that this phase of the nutrition plan offers.
