This is a review of PowerBar's Protein Plus Bar- Chocolate Peanut butter flavor. This is a great tasting protein bar from Power Bar. I find myself purchasing this bar quite often. The bar contains 3 types of protein that digest at different rates in order to help keep you full longer. The nutrition facts are pretty decent: 300 calories, 6g fat, 23g protein per bar. So pretty good protein:fat ratio. The one problem I have with this bar is that it contains a slightly elevated amount of sugar. We can be a deterrent for some, however, a nice thing is that this particular bar is very common in convenience stores, so it can be one of your better options while traveling. The bar does come in a few different flavors, however, the chocolate peanut butter is the only one I have tried.
