ProSupps sent us out a few supplements a while back for us to review. This review is for the pre-workout supplement Dr. Jekyll. This is the milder pre-workout from ProSupps as compared to Mr. Hyde.

A few highlights of Dr. Jekyll include:

2 grams Beta Alanine
500mg L-Leucine
1 gram Creatine HCl
100 mg Caffeine
750 mg Agmatine Sulfate
1.5 grams Citrulline Malate

Now, one of the things I first noted about Dr. Jekyll was that it contained many important ingredients of a preworkout. It pretty much has it all. However, these key ingredients are all in very moderate amounts. ProSupps must have gotten the ingredient combo right, cause I really had a good experience with it during my workout. I had great energy, and was able to perform my best squat workout that I have done in probably the last 4 months. I also did some back exercises, and had great energy all the way through.

The downfall of Dr. Jekyll was the taste and mixability. The Punch flavor was a little off. It had sort of a vitamin type taste to it. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't drink it, but it is definitely not the best tasting pre-workout supplement out there. Next, the mixability was pretty poor. There were many clumps left at the bottom. I mixed up the supplement exactly as directed, and still was left with clumps. So, while these two features are important, the product did perform well however, and wouldn't deter me from trying it again.

Recommendation: Sample before you purchase.
