This is a review of the Vanilla Cream flavor Pure Protein 100% Whey Protein Powder. I believe I purchased this protein powder for around 16-17 dollars from Walmart. With 27 servings in the tub, the price isn't too bad, at around 59 cents per scoop, and the fact that it is available at Walmart is very convenient. The nutrition facts are rock solid, 140 calories, 2.5g fat, 25g protein per scoop. However, the taste was a bit off. I have had a good share of vanilla protein powders, (my favorite flavor) and this one was just not quite right. Hard to describe, but it has some sort of weird fruitiness to it. I even tried to cover it up by using it in protein pancakes, muffins, smoothies, but that weird flavor could not be disguised. I would NOT purchase this protein powder again due to the strange taste.
