Today's workout consisted of some squats (in the form of a squat pyramid) and then a CrossFit WOD from Competitors Training followed by a one mile run which I almost hurled. Below is a video of my squat pyramid based on a 410# max along with my CrossFit WOD. After nearly 20 days of #squateveryday doing triples up to a heavy single, I wanted to mix it up a bit with the squat pyramid.

The Workout:

410# Squat Pyramid - I used the Smackdown Squat Pyramid Generator to get the weight/reps

  • 225# x 10
  • 275# x 8
  • 315# x 6
  • 350# x 4
  • 360# x 3
  • 380# x 2
  • 315# x 6

CrossFit WOD - 5 RFT

  • 5 Clean and Jerks @ 125#
  • 5 Bar Muscle-Ups

Run 1 Mile (which I almost died doing)
