This is a recipe for White Turkey Chili. My wife got the original recipe from one of her co-workers, and with a couple modifications, it can be pretty dang healthy.
I always like making a batch of chili or chowder on Sundays to eat during football!
This whole recipe contains 1900 calories, 23g fat, and 260g protein! I am assuming it will make about 8 servings which would put us at about 240 calories, 3g fat, and 32 g of protein per serving!!! A video of the preparation is below along with a list of ingredients and cooking instructions.

  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 2 sticks of chopped celery
  • 1/2 chopped yellow pepper
  • 2lbs 99% lean ground turkey-browned
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 can 98% fat free cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cannellini (white kidney) beans
  • 1 can Light red kidney beans
  • 1/2 packet white chicken chili mix (can substitue 4tsp chili powder and 2 tsp cumin)
  • 2-3 cups water

Combine all ingredients in crock-pot and cook on high for 2 hours then reduce heat to low or keep warm depending on how hot your crockpot gets (they are all different)
