Hi everyone. I am planning a trip across Morocco and thinking about renting a car for part of the journey. I would like to know what documents are usually required and whether there are any local driving rules or rental conditions that visitors should pay special attention to.
I ended up driving through several parts of Morocco last year and having a car definitely made it easier to visit smaller towns and places away from the main tourist routes. The road conditions were generally better than I expected. I would just recommend checking the rental terms carefully and making sure you understand the insurance coverage before booking.
