Well, that was a fun start to the week. Went out to my 2018 X-Trail this morning and it just wouldn't catch, all I got was that slow, struggling crank that tells you it's game over for the battery. I had to get a jump from a neighbor just to get the kids to school. The car has been a bit sluggish to start the last few days and I honestly should have seen this coming, especially since we're heading into the worst of the summer heat. I've had a couple of recommendations from friends to check out workshops around the MBZ City or Khalifa City area because apparently there are a few decent garages that specialize in Japanese cars and won't charge you an arm and a leg. I'm really hoping to find the Best battery repair and replacement for Nissan in Khalifa City because I can't afford to have the car out of action for long with my work schedule. I've seen a couple of places advertised online that say they come to you with a mobile service, but I'm a bit skeptical about whether they carry the right battery specifications for the X-Trail or if they just throw in whatever fits. I've also read that Nissans with start-stop systems need AGM batteries to handle the electronics properly, so I don't want someone cutting corners. Has anyone here used a shop around the Khalifa City or MBZ area for a Nissan battery recently? I'd really appreciate some honest feedback before I pick a place and get stuck with another dead battery in a few months.
