This sample 2000 calorie Low Carb Diet Plans is for those of you who are eating a low-carb lifestyle, but not full-on Keto.  The Low-Carb dient plan aims to get most if your carbohydrate intake from fruits and vegetables while limiting carbs from sugars and grains.

Sample 2000 Calorie Per Day Low Carb Diet / Meal Plan

Breakfast

  • 2 Whole Eggs + 2 Egg Whites
  • 2 Sausage Links (Or breakfast meat of your choice)
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter

Snack

  • 1 Scoops of Whey Protein mixed in water or coconut milk
  • 1 piece of fruit
  • 1/2 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 Slice Cheese

Lunch

  • 4-6 oz of lean meat (sirloin, chicken, tuna)
  • 2c Vegetables
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil

Snack

  • 1 Scoops of Whey Protein mixed in water
  • Raw veggies to snack on
  • 1 serving almonds (about 14)

Dinner

  • 6-8 oz grilled fish
  • 1/2 sweet potato
  • 2c steamed veggies
  • 1/2 Tbsp Coconut Oil or Butter

Bedtime Snack

  • 1 Scoops of Whey Protein mixed in water
  • 1 Bananaa
  • 1/2 tbsp natural peanut butter

This sample 2000 calorie low carb meal plan will have you eating six meals per day. If you can't eat six times per day, it is not a problem if you need to stuff these into 3 or 4 meals. Also, if you're currently eating somewhere around 1500 calories, you may want to gradually increase your caloric intake to prevent fat gain.

You can also feel free to substitute approved fruits and veggies in place of the whole wheat bread.
